The Cryotome is a form of microtome designed for cutting specimens submitted for frozen sections demanded by surgeons for getting intraoperative results. It operates by rapidly freezing the sample in a temperature controlled environment, and provides means for sectioning the frozen sample by the microtome.

Our Cryotome offers a few features designed to secure samples, such as a key lock to immobilize the control panel, a three position deadlock lever, as well as retractable front wheels for extra stability. This microtome is easy to clean and maintain, with a knife holder that accepts knives or disposable blades, and a refrigeration system with maximum cooling temperature down to -60°C.
