An FMC urologist has presented a study about transrectal needle biopsy of the prostate at the American Urological Association Annual Meeting which was held on May 15–19, 2015 in New Orleans, USA. Dr. Yunus Koprulu is the first Iraqi urologist to attend this extraordinary international event of urologists.
Following his presentation, Dr. Koprulu told the FMC website that, “my research and study of transrectal needle biopsy of the prostate has been accepted and proved by the AUA congress.”
Professor Ghanim AlSheikh at Imperial College London said, “Iconic dear Yunus, your language, your defense and your stance are amazingly full of confidence and perfection, adding my heart was with you to see how you proceed but you did excellently well.”
The reaction from three participants showed that the presentation has clear value as part of this extraordinary meeting which takes a global look at the advances and treatments of prostate cancer around the world.
The American Urological Association (AUA) has invited urology professionals around the world to meet in New Orleans, LA for the 2015 AUA Annual Meeting. 16000 attendees unanimously reported that the knowledge they took from the meeting positively impacts their practices.
