Visitor Information

We know how important it can be to see your friends and family regularly when you’re staying in hospital. Although we do have set visiting times and other periods where visiting is kept to a minimum, we try to keep it as flexible as possible.

Visiting times

Please do not come for a visit to the hospital if you have a cold or flu, or if you have had sickness and/or diarrhoea in the past 48 hours.

Wards: Everyday from 8 am to 10 pm

Intensive Care Units: Everyday from 1 pm to 1:30 pm and 6 pm to 6:30 pm.

Seeing the doctor

Nursing staff are happy to assists you to make an appointment with the doctor in charge of your patient.

Parking

Parking area is available for visitors and patients inside the campus.

Pharmacy

To ensure quality, the pharmacy department only dispenses quality approved medications.

We have both In Patient and Out Patient Pharmacy at FMC.

Cash machines

At FMC, there is a cash machine in front of the admission desk of the main hospital entrance.

Guest Cafeteria

There is a cafeteria inside FMC which operates everyday between 7 am to 10 pm.

Mobile phones

Mobile phones may be used in main public areas. There are signs in areas where you must switch off your phone or put it in airplane/flight mode.

No smoking policy

FMC operates a strict no smoking policy at all sites in the hospital.
