The department is easily accessible by all patients as it is located within walking distance from the main patient entrance of FMC.
Working Hours
We provide a wide range of tests for both inpatients and outpatients. The laboratory is open for routine requests from 08:00 – 17:00 Saturday to Wednesday.
The laboratory department is offering 24-hour service based on 3 shifts including on Thursdays, Fridays and major holidays.

Can anyone get my blood result for me?
The FMC laboratory believes that it is the responsibility of all staff, as defined in their contract of employment to ensure that all information which they have access to as part of their work is treated in the strictly confidence and protected from unauthorized access.
My external doctor sends me to another lab, but I like FMC laboratory perform my tests. Is it possible?
Patients can choose their preferred laboratory. If you prefer to come to FMC laboratory, all you have to do is to visit us and bring your request form with you so your tests will be ordered and performed at our facilities. Your results will be reported back to you, so you can take it to your own doctor.
