Faruk Medical City is pleased to announce that Assistant Professor Dr. Ari Sami Hussein Nadhim, a specialist in Neurosurgery and Spinal Surgery, has joined its medical team.
Dr. Ari obtained his Master’s degree in Baghdad in 1984 and achieved his Iraqi Board Certification in Neurosurgery and Spinal Surgery in 1994. From 1994 to 2003, he served as a specialist surgeon at the Specialized Surgery Hospital in Baghdad’s Medical City and was also a professor at the College of Medicine, University of Baghdad, from 2001 to 2003.
Since 2003, he has been a professor at the College of Medicine, University of Sulaimani, where he also served as the Dean from 2010 to 2015. He currently holds the position of Head of the Neurosurgery Center for the Kurdistan and Iraqi Boards.
With over forty years of experience in neurosurgery, Dr. Ari’s expertise includes brain and spinal cord tumor surgery, spinal surgery, and other complex and delicate neurosurgical procedures.
