Mina’s Story

Mina, 4, was born with a liver defect. After doctors confirmed she needed a transplant, her father donated part of his liver. The successful surgery—Kurdistan’s first at Faruq Medical City—saved her life. Now, local patients no longer need to travel abroad for transplants. A father’s love + sacrifice + science = a miracle.
