The photos from the colourful International Nurses Week event at Faruk Medical City (FMC). The event included different activities from nurses of different nationalities at FMC.
An inspirational speech was given by our owner and founder of FMC, Mr. Faruk Mustafa Rasool.
Followed by a short pantomime performance by the nurses at FMC, which transformed into a dance performance showing the mix of cultural backgrounds here at FMC. A variation of Indian dance to Filipino to Kurdish dance.
Ahead of the event, a competition was organised where six groups were to create their version of “Nurse Week” as a poster. With 1st, 2nd and 3rd positions to receive certificates and 1st position to also receive a cash prize. The inpatient nurses won the 1st prize, with Outpatient and OR nurses a close 2nd and 3rd.
The event was then followed by a closing speech by Dr. Yar Ezzulddin Mustafa for the nurses and the audience.
