Farouk Medical City gave a lecture to the doctors and medical staff in the Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital in Sulaymaniyah by Dr. Anton Albert Abu Musa (consultant of obstetrics and gynecology and infertility diseases) under the title “Safe care for mother and newborn child”
Objectives of the World Patient Safety Day 2021
1.Raising global awareness of issues related to maternal and newborn safety, particularly during childbirth.
2.Engaging multiple stakeholders and adopting effective and innovative strategies to improve maternal and newborn safety.
3. Calling for urgent and sustainable action by all stakeholders to expand efforts, reach everyone and ensure safe maternal and newborn care, especially during childbirth.
4- Endorsing and adopting best practices at the point of care to protect all women and newborns from avoidable risks and damages during childbirth.
