Dr. Zakhia Saliba, Interventional Pediatric and congenital Cardiologist and Head of the Pediatric and Congenital Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory at Saint Joseph University Hospital (Hotel Dieu de France) in Beirut, Lebanon, will visit FMC from the 29th of June 2025 until the 5th of July 2025.

Dr. Zakhya obtained his Diploma of Medicine Doctor with an “excellent” grade from Moscow University, Faculty of Medicine (Russia) in 1992 and completed his residency at 6 different hospitals in Paris throughout 8 semesters in General Pediatrics, Neonatology, Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, and Pediatric Cardiology from 1994-1998. He got ranked 2nd out of 45 international candidates in the D.I.D exam of “Pediatric Nouveau Regime” in 1994. He received his Diploma as a Pediatric Cardiologist from Rene Descartes University in France in 1999. Dr. Zakhia is a Proctor and Consultant for Abbot-Vascular USA and Lifetouch Scientific China since 2018 an Interventional Pediatric & Congenital Cardiologist and Head of the Pediatric and Congenital Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory at Saint Joseph University Hospital since 2001. He got the title of Professor in Pediatric and Pediatric Cardiology in Saint Joseph University (Beirut, Lebanon) in 2018. Dr. Zakhia is an excellent physician and a well-known pediatric cardiologist, trained in the most prestigious hospitals in France, Hospital Necker des Enfants Maladies.
